How Wakil is registered, how we handle personal data under UAE law, and the terms that apply when you use this website or work with us. Last updated October 2026.

Privacy notice (PDPL)

We are the controller of personal data collected through this website and through the AI agents we operate for our clients. We handle that data in line with the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on Personal Data Protection (PDPL).

What we collect

Contact details you submit, such as name, email address and phone number.
Business information you share in an enquiry, quote request or estimate.
The content of conversations you have with our agents, on any channel.
Technical data such as IP address, device type, browser and pages visited.

Why we use it

To answer your enquiry and prepare a quote or blueprint.
To deliver, operate and support the services you engage us for.
To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations in the UAE.
To improve our agents, our website and the quality of our responses.

Our lawful bases are your consent, the performance of a contract with you, our legal obligations, and our legitimate interests in operating and improving our business.

Who we share it with

We share personal data only with service providers that help us run the service, such as cloud hosting, AI model, messaging and CRM providers, each under contract and only for the purposes above. We do not sell personal data. We may disclose data where UAE law requires it.

Transfers and retention

Some providers process data outside the UAE. Where that happens we rely on the transfer conditions permitted under the PDPL and apply appropriate safeguards. We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, and delete or return client data at the end of an engagement on request.

Your rights

You may request access to your personal data, ask us to correct or delete it, restrict or object to processing, request portability, or withdraw consent at any time. Write to admin@thewakil.com and we will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the UAE Data Office.

Security

We apply access controls, least privilege, encryption in transit, audit logging and documented retention. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

This website and our services are intended for businesses and are not directed at anyone under 18.

Cookie policy

We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies. Essential cookies keep the site working, for example remembering your language choice and your cookie preference. Analytics cookies help us understand which pages are used, in aggregate.

You choose on your first visit whether to accept all cookies or essential only. You can change your mind at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings, and you can block or delete cookies in your browser at any time. Blocking essential cookies may affect how the site works.

Terms of use

By using this website you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site. These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Quotes and pricing

Estimates produced on this site are indicative and based on the inputs you provide. Written quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. All prices are quoted in AED and exclude 5% VAT where applicable. Third party charges, such as messaging, model and hosting fees, are separate and variable.

Your responsibilities

Provide accurate information and the access needed to deliver the work.
Approve the boundaries, permissions and escalation rules for each agent.
Use the service lawfully and comply with UAE law and platform rules.
Ensure any outbound messaging complies with WhatsApp Business, telecom and marketing requirements that apply to you.

Intellectual property

You own your data, your content and your brand assets. We own our platform, agent configurations, methods, templates and documentation. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of either party's intellectual property.

Liability

To the extent permitted by UAE law, our total liability arising from the services is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, data or business. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version published on this page at the time of your visit applies. Material changes will be flagged by the updated date above.

Refunds and cancellation

Monthly plans can be cancelled with 30 days written notice. A monthly period that has not yet started is refunded in full. A period already served is not refunded.

Setup and build fees become non refundable once build work has started, because that work is delivered specifically for you. Where we have not started, setup fees are refunded in full.

Nothing in this policy affects any statutory rights you have under UAE consumer protection law.

Complaints and dispute resolution

If something is not right, tell us first. Email admin@thewakil.com or call 055 433 3321 with the details. We acknowledge complaints within 2 business days and aim to resolve them within 30 days.

If we cannot resolve it between us, we will discuss mediation in good faith before either party starts proceedings. Data protection complaints may also be raised with the UAE Data Office, and consumer matters with the relevant UAE consumer protection authority.
